The following tables show the percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard or the greater depth standard at Dallas Road.
There is also a ‘scaled score’. This is a score that is converted from a child's raw score and can run from 80 (lowest) to 120 (highest possible), with 100 indicating the benchmark for achieving the expected standard. The difference between a child’s score and 100 gives some idea how close they were to achieving the standard or how confidently they passed the standard.
Writing is teacher assessed. Pupils can be assessed as ‘at the expected standard’. There is no scaled score but a child can also be assessed as ‘working at greater depth within the expected standard’.

The government’s progress measures aim to capture the progress that pupils make from the end of Key Stage 1 to the end of primary school. They are a type of value added measure, which means that pupils’ results are compared to the actual achievements of other pupils nationally with similar prior (KS1) attainment.
A pupil’s progress score is calculated by working out the difference between their actual Key Stage 2 outcome and the average Key Stage 2 outcome for the other pupils nationally, who are in the same prior attainment group.
